What Do We Know About The 2023 Toyota GR Corolla So Far?

Toyota has been teasing the release of a GR version of their Toyota Corolla in their 2023 lineup. It’s estimated that the car will be available to those in Knoxville, TN, by fall 2022.

The GR Corolla will be released with non-GR Toyota Corolla, likely sharing some of the same body. However, improvements are made on top of the 2021 Toyota Corolla and 2022 Toyota Corolla. This includes an updated front fascia trim, new colors, and all-wheel drive capabilities.

GR Corolla Vs GR Yaris

The Toyota GR Yaris is comparable to the GR Corolla because they are in the same weight and performance class. However, the Yaris was a three-door and weighed about 400lb less. GR Corolla is a five-door, has a new engine and many more features.

What About The GR Look Is Different?

The car has a carbon roof to reduce weight and lower the center of gravity, which is great for rallies and drifting. This is exposed carbon, much like you see on Lamborghinis. For the interior, the seats are made of faux leather with the famous GR symbol on the back of the headrest, giving it a clean look. The display has also increased in size, and the central control is compatible with Apple Airplay and Android LocalCast

The power of the GR Corolla can is attributed to the new exhaust system designed to produce the right amount of back pressure.

How Much Can I Expect To Pay?

The GR Corolla prices aren’t official yet, but you can expect to pay $32,000 for the core version. If you want to upgrade to the circuit, it’ll more likely be $40,000.

Toyota GR Corolla Vs Toyota GR86

The Toyota GR 86 is a small three-door sports car with a different look and feel from the GR Corolla. The GR 86 can reach 60 mph in 5.4 seconds or a quarter-mile in 14 seconds.
